As well as celebrating the Queen’s birthday, Monday 11th June is the day we celebrate the most traditional pizza of all – it’s National Margherita Pizza Day! Named for a very different Queen, this national day dates back to 1889 when, to honour the Queen Margherita of Savoy, an Italian pizzaiolo created the now famous Margherita pizza just for her. Simple, delicious and iconic, the colour combination of its ingredients is certainly no accident, as the red tomato, white mozzarella and green basil, represent the Italian flag ??
To celebrate this delicious day, 400 Gradi is GIVING AWAY the world’s best pizza!

Where: Available at all 400 Gradi Melbourne venues, dine in only (Excludes international and P&O venues)
What: Limit of x1 free Margherita pizza per 2 pax.
To claim the free Margherita pizza, guests must post a photo of their Margherita pizza on Instagram while they’re at the restaurant.
Once they tag @gradigroup and show the post to the staff member, the pizza is free!
