Braza is an authentic Brazilian cookbook packed with vibrant, traditional Brazilian dishes, with a strong focus on barbecue. While Braza is most definitely a cookbook, it also features highlights of beautiful Brazil, its scenery, fun lifestyle and home style.

Author, Andre Felicio, is a passionate chef and restaurateur originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil. His journey in the world of meats and barbecuing started when he was a child where family barbecues were a regular occurrence and took the skills he learned from his mother and father into his own restaurants where he built his cooking career.

With a strong focus on meats, Felicio’s first cookbook, Braza, also includes Brazilian style cocktails, mouth-watering desserts, sauces, salsas, salads and seafood. The emphasis is on simple ingredients and methods that result in meals with plenty of punch. There are step-by-step instructions for building your own charcoal barbecue grill, using the right wood, having the correct tools, creating the perfect fire and buying the best quality meat. Skills to sharpening and caring for your knives are shown as well as barbecue rules, instructions and diagrams on cutting meat, how to use salt effectively and how to perfectly sear and rest meat.

The reader will find the recipes well laid out, easy to follow and that they have ingredients that are generally available at your local supermarket.
