Melbourne, Australia: Do you know you beestings from your brine? Can you tell a fromage from a farmer’s cheese? Are you well-rehearsed at sniffing out the difference between Fiano and Sauvignon Blanc?
Melbourne’s renowned cheese and cider festival, Fromage a Trois, returns to the beautiful grounds of Werribee Park Mansion on Sunday 6 March, 2016 promising a bigger and better line up then ever before.
The festival will feature more than 60 exhibitors including Australia’s finest cheese, cider and wine producers, allowing guests to meet the makers and discover the ins and outs of Australia’s vibrant and internationally awarded food and drink industry.
Attracting some of the country’s biggest names in food, Australia’s most renowned chefs will take visitors on a culinary journey, demonstrating ways of incorporating cheese and cider into your everyday cooking.
The event will host the likes of Head Chef of Shadowfax Winery, Ben D’Arcy; Head Chef of The Park Hotel Matija Sefancic; That’s Amore Cheese’s, Giorgio Linguanti; and Head Chef at St Kilda’s iconic Circa, Ashly Hicks.
Guests will have the chance to enjoy a range of Australian and International cuisine, including cheese platters, raclette’s and pizza, plus crisp ciders, award-winning wines and a variety of delicious cheeses.
Local breweries will be serving up refreshing ales and with a number of vendors and food stalls onsite, guests will have their choice of food options as well as the opportunity to build their own picnic.
