VICTORIA BECKHAM AW17 RUNWAY BEAUTY LOOK

In her second season showcasing the Victoria Beckham Estée Lauder makeup collection, Beckham lit up her AW17 runway with a chic, sophisticated beauty look focusing on preternaturally glowing complexions.
Following the success of her first collection, Beckham brought back several bestsellers this season, including the Morning Aura Illuminating Creme, Highlighter in Modern Mercury and Eye Kajal Duo in Black Saffron/Vanille.
The foundation of the look was Morning Aura mixed with Estée Lauder Double Wear Light Stay-in-Place Makeup, creating an all over naturally dewy finish.
Teasing products from a forthcoming second collection, a skin-perfecting pressed powder was applied where needed to keep the skin balanced, with hits of Modern Mercury highlighter on the high points of the face—tops of the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, inner corners of the eyes and Cupid’s bow of the lips. An extra tap of Morning Aura on cheekbones created the rich luminescence.
The rest of the look alternated between natural, nude eyes, subtly lined with the Vanille shade of the Eye Kajal Duo, and a wash of grey shadow, also teased from the forthcoming collection, which Beckham declared the “fashion shade.” The grey shadow was applied freeform across lids with fingertips, extending past the outer corners of the eyes. Mascara applied just at the roots of the lashes added a touch of definition to both eye looks. A nude, light pink lipstick—another upcoming product—completed the look, dabbed on for an imperfect finish.
