If you haven’t already been in some way touched by cancer – yourself, family member, or someone you know – there is a very high chance you will be soon.
Some statistics say that 100 years ago, one in 80 people would be diagnosed with some form of cancer. Today, the World Health Organisation expects that one in three women and one in two men will receive a cancer diagnosis.
When I first received the book The Truth about Cancer, I was prepared to laugh at what I was going to read. After all, I have worked for many years in the medical industry; my mind is ‘set’ for ‘conventional’ medicine.
Ty M. Bollinger is a happily married husband and father, health freedom advocate, cancer researcher, former competitive body builder, documentary film producer, radio show host, and author of The Truth about Cancer. After losing several family members to cancer, he refused to accept the notion that chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery were the most effective treatments available for cancer patients. He began a quest to learn all he possibly could about alternative cancer treatments and the medical industry.
The Truth about Cancer delves into the history of medicine, all the way back to Hippocrate’s credo of ‘do no harm’, as well as up-to-the-minute research that proves the efficacy of dozens of advanced cancer treatments being used around the globe. Bollinger arms readers with essential and sometimes startling information about –
- The history and politics of cancer
- The takeover of medical education by special interests and for-profit agendas
- How some life-saving treatments have been kept from the public – and why
- Treatment options that go well beyond chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery.
Much of the information in the book covers things that we already know –
- healthy diet and lifestyle
- the dangers of chemicals such as fluoride and plastic
- the benefits of the likes of turmeric and apple cider vinegar in our diets.
And while many medical professionals would disagree, Bollinger speaks of the importance of cleanses for the colon, kidney, parasite, liver/gallbladder and blood, and also gives a guide on how to do these at home.
While The Truth about Cancer contains information that we already know, and information that would be quickly debunked by the medical profession, there is also information that will have the reader questioning current cancer detection and treatment methods, such as the mammogram. Millions of women across the world have regular screening mammograms; the reason behind this is that ‘early detection’ is greatly beneficial in the treatment of breast cancer. But when it is brought to our attention, what the mammogram does is in contradiction to what doctors are told if they detect a breast lump in a patient.
A mammogram is quite an uncomfortable and often painful procedure where the breast is pressed, extremely firmly, between two metal plates so that an image can be produced of the breast tissue. Yet, according to Dr Russel Blaylock of The Blaylock wellness Report, “Doctors are taught that once a lump is found, you don’t press it – not even during an examination – because you will cause the cancer cells to spread.”
The book delves quite deeply into the dangers of mammograms, their rate of accuracy, that they emit ionizing radiation which can mutate cells and that The Radiological Society of North America confirms that the annual mammograms are directly responsible for causing breast cancer in some women.
Bollinger believes that there is ample evidence to support the allegation that the ‘war on cancer’ is largely a fraud and that the multinational pharmaceutical companies are ‘running the show.’ He has now made it his mission in life to share what he has discovered on his quest: the vast majority of all diseases, including cancer, can easily be prevented and even cured without drugs or surgery.
Ty Bollinger’s book, The Truth about Cancer, is a very interesting read and will most certainly have you questioning what you may already know about cancer, its prevention and its treatments. The information within the book will arm you with knowledge if you receive a cancer diagnosis and have you confident to question the current treatment options.
For me, the jury is still out, yet the information that I have read in this books makes a lot of sense – I leave it to you to make up your own mind.
