Successful eco catwalk in Berlin
An enthusiastic reaction to the first Greenshowroom ‘Salonshow’ in the new location – the setting in the ‘Funkhaus’ and an exciting style mix ensured great applause for the ‘Salonshow’.
During the catwalk show, international designers of the Greenshowroom presented the latest trends for the 2018 spring and summer season. This was the first time that Messe Frankfurt had held the show at the ‘Funkhaus’ event centre, the new location of the Greenshowroom and Ethical Fashion Show Berlin. On the atmospheric upper floor of the ‘Shedhalle’, the show staged highlights from the new collections.
The show presented a varied selection of modern eco fashions and was opened with a playful collection for men and women by C.Pauli. Particular eye-catchers were retro swimwear made of recycled nylon by Miss Janna and high-grade business collections by Somyso, as well as the elaborate, hand-made pieces in indigo blue of Hirschhausen’s Living Blue x Natascha capsule collection. Other highlights were shown by Biaggi Atelier, Inti Ferreira, Jungle Folk, Laurie Procès – LVMH CSR Young Talent Award and Things I Miss. Lanius rounded off the show with a dress made of recycled saris.
‘Ethical Fashion on Stage’ catwalk show fascinated the audience with a broad spectrum of modern streetwear and casualwear by selected labels from the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin.
