Advertised as having a silky, mousse-like formulation I found that this cleanser is more of a thick cream and that a little of the product goes a very long way.
Recommended usage is to massage it onto face, neck and décolletage before rinsing with warm water and a face cloth. Due to the heavy consistency of this cleanser, I found it worked better when I used a single pump of product onto wet hands enabling it to be easier to massage onto my skin. When used this way the product worked really well as a cleanser easily removing day to day grime and light makeup. I did however find that when I use a heavier foundation I had to use the cleanser twice to get my skin properly clean. The formulation provides a thorough cleanse and gentle, non-abrasive exfoliation which left my skin feeling well prepared to absorb serums and creams.
The cleanser contains papain from papaya and bromelain from pineapple help to regenerate the skin, removing the rough outer layer without exfoliating viable cells. Bromelain also helps promote elasticity and reduce inflammation for smoother, more even skin tone. Licorice and mulberry brighten while jojoba esters smooth and reinforce the epidermis. Vitamin E, a vital component for healthy skin, nourishes and helps fight free radical damage.
