Martha’s Table

I have made it my mission to spend even more time travelling throughout and discovering Victoria.

While the Mornington Peninsula is fairly well known to me, there is still much for me to see and do in that part of Victoria, so I took the opportunity to spend a day there and to partake of a few treats I had not yet tasted or experienced.

One of those treats was Martha’s Table, a restaurant that prides itself as being ‘truly Mediterranean in nature’.

The presentation, style and standard of food served proves that everyone involved in the running of Martha’s Table takes immense pride in what they do. They source the very best in produce, striving to highlight ingredients at the peak of their season. In doing this, they work closely with local farmers to source the very best of both Australian and International products.

My Friday lunch dining experience was very relaxing. Sitting on the covered balcony, overlooking the marina and the boats was mesmerising.

The décor at Martha’s Table is comfortable and charming and the service I received was outstanding, as was the food.

My waiter was charming, attentive, informative and always on hand when needed.

Martha’s Table offers a Bar, Restaurant, Café and Take Away seven days a week.

For locals, there is a courtesy bus to drive you home safely after dining and if you are lucky enough to arrive in a boat there are private marina berths for those who are dining in the restaurant – conditions apply, so please check the website.

Just over an hour’s drive from Melbourne CBD, Martha’s Table is located at 5 Waterfront Place, Safety Beach.
