Caring for mature skin

Mature skin in particular needs specialised care, and with a strong understanding of the harmonious connection between nature and humans, Weleda has developed a facial and body care line using evening primrose oil.
Their new Evening Primrose range consists of a day cream, night cream, body wash, revitalising oil and eye and lip cream.
I trialled the Age Revitalising Night Cream and found it to be light cream that absorbs easily. When it was fully absorbed, my skin felt velvety and continued to do so for most of the night.
The product is full of goodies such as inca nut, wheat germ and evening primrose oils, all ingredients that are said to strengthen and nourish our skin, restore plumpness and increase vitality and radiance. Due to its non-sticky and light formulation, I have found that this night cream works well as a day cream too. RRP AU$43.95 – 30ml
I have also been using the Age Revitalising Oil which is full of skin nourishing goodies. I am always hesitant about trying oils as they can be sticky and slow to absorb – this one is neither of those.
The oil is intensely hydrating and applied to towel dried damp skin after a shower, this product absorbs really well and quickly. In the time I have been using this product – approximately two weeks now – I have noticed my skin is definitely smoother and softer.
I only have one complaint about this product, and it’s the fragrance – not a fan – but, thankfully for me, the fragrance disappears very quickly. RRP AU$30.95 – 100ml
