Bake your fake tan

Now that the weather is warming up, it’s the perfect time to get rid of that winter white skin and try a fake tan. Gone are the days where that meant you would walk out of the house looking like an oompa loompa. Fake Bake has definitely made a quality product that avoids the orange glow.
The Flawless Darker Liquid comes in an easy spray bottle. It’s absolutely fool proof due to the water thin liquid and colour guide – it simply just cannot be messed up. For the price of $39.00 the product comes with a mitt, which is amazing if you’re a regular tanner like me, because those mitts can be a regular extra cost of $10 on top of the tan price. The mitt included is also good quality and nice and thick so definitely not a cheap extra.
The Fake Bake is definitely one of the quickest tans I’ve ever used; the green based colour is simply sprayed into the mitt and rubbed on – so simple! I love that the brown tone also means you can wear the application colour without feeling worried that someone would notice its fake colour. Once washed off, the skin is also left with a natural summer tan that not only looks amazing but will last for 3-4 days before needing to be reapplied.
The Skin Smoothie Dry Oil is a sister product to the tan. Recommended for pre tan application to protect the dry areas of the body, I found I didn’t really need to use it for that. The tan itself was so good that it wasn’t needed. The non-greasy and light feel of the oil made it perfect for after a shower to keep the skin lightly hydrated, extending the wear of the tan. Because it doesn’t leave behind a residue you don’t have to wait to get dressed either.
The oil is definitely not a necessity, but it’s a nice bonus in the tanning regime. The only downside I found with it is that it doesn’t leave the same beautiful coconut scent that the body lotion does. The oil is definitely not a necessity but a nice bonus in the tanning regime.
I have used many different tanning products and I would definitely recommend Fake Bake. The darker liquid is something I will continue to use and buy, it’s a definite summer must have beauty product!
