A grand event fit for royals

Paul Burrell, former butler of the late Princess of Wales and “her rock” as he was affectionately referred to, is heading to Australia from his hometown of North of England to host an exclusive afternoon tea experience in August, marking the 20th anniversary of Princess’ passing.

Corporates, industry leaders and distinguished guests will hear firsthand Mr Burrell’s fascinating stories of working with the Royal Family, together with his expert advice on etiquette and entertaining – all the while experiencing an event truly showcasing Palazzo Versace Gold Coast’s world class hospitality and culinary expertise.

Queensland event stylist, Alysia Bridger (Celebrations by Alysia) and Rachell Hansen (Emrajo Linen) have partnered with Palazzo Versace Gold Coast to bring this unique afternoon to life, an event almost a year in the making.

“As the event name suggests, it’s about wanting guests to feel like royalty, and we will be gathering a team of event experts to create an opulent event experience like no other,” said Mrs Bridger.

“We are absolutely thrilled that we were able to secure someone with the calibre of Paul Burrell who brings his knowledge and experience from 21 years of service with the British Royal Family. Paul has only made a few special visits to Australia so this will be a very rare opportunity for people around Australia and the Asia-Pacific to attend an event so unique,” said Mrs Hansen.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to Youngcare, a charity established in Brisbane 12 years ago to support young people with high care needs.
